Cowes Week is the world’s oldest and largest sailing regatta and takes place from the 10-17thAugust. It’s the highlight of the British sailing season and, incredibly, is one of the largest annual sporting events in the UK!
With up to 1000 boats racing across 40 classes, 8000 competitors and 100,000 spectators, it is a spectacle not to be missed! The world-famous regatta ends with a bang on Friday night with an epic firework display. Cowes town is traditionally packed for this part of the week, so watching the fireworks from the water is perfect!
Watching the action from the luxury of ‘Kingfisher’ the Hanse 548 yacht we have partnered with, is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the event, where all the action happens – on the water!
Bring your camera along and get some great shots of the yachts or just relax and watch the yachts as they race passed us, whilst we take care of everything else. Lunch, soft drinks and tea and coffee are included in the price, so why not join us for a full day of fun out on the Solent! We depart from Ocean Village, Southampton, at 9.30am and plan to be back at our berth for 5pm.
Plus, we’re also offering Powersail guests the chance to watch the Friday night firework display from the comfort of our yacht. This is an amazing opportunity to enjoy the skies light up at the end of an amazing week of sailing. Places are limited, so book your spot now!
